Notices of Default in Bend

In between floating the river, trying to successfully catch the salmon fly hatch on the Deschutes, checking the speed and roll on the local greens, and sampling the latest microbrew, we try to keep a pretty close eye on the notices of default in Bend and Central Oregon.  In fact, we track them daily. With the forces presently at work in the economy, nobody can actually predict what is going to happen; however, the NOD’s can help give us a clue to the  future number of foreclosures in Bend OR.

Notices of default in Bend

Notices of default in Bend on real estate mortgages are often the start of the foreclosure process; the lender must file a notice in the county where the property is located.  Also, the defaulting borrower must be personally served at least 120 days before the sale date.  The notice must contain additional information: date, time, and place of sale, a description of the default.

Foreclosure Sales

Bend foreclosure sales must take place between 9 AM and 4 PM on the day designated as a part of a public auction.  The property will be auctioned to the highest bidder.
